Enrico Toccacelo scored a good 1.37.775 at the International F.3000 official testing session. At Imola circuit, Coloni Motorsport continued to progress in the new Lola's. The fastest times of the testing session were set in the in the thursday morning (Rodrigo Sperafico 1.36.879). Toccacelo was again satisfied with the car, setting the 8th quickest time, without problems. Toccacelo continued to learn more about the new Lola and he felt that the car was performing well. Unfortunately in the afternoon session when he went out on his final set of tyres with approximately fifteen minutes of the session ending, he remained without fuell at Rivazza. The telemetry showed that his time was 9 tenth quicker than his former best time.

Enrico Toccacelo: "We continued to work on trying the best set-up. We have found the right solutions at the end of the two days. In the thursday morning we did a good time and with all the figurations at the end of the day I think I could have been quicker but, at any rate, i’m very satisfied, because the time doesn't matter too much as it's only a test and not qualifying or a race. We’ve done a lot of work on the car, and all the team worked very well"

Coloni Motorsport: "This has been a very productive test for the  Coloni Motorsport team. Toccacelo is getting quicker and quicker and we have found a good set-up. We completed all our working program and we are very confident about the championships.”

The second day, Dominik Schwager shook-down the 2nd Lola B2/50. The expert german driver worked very well with the team and he was satisfied with the new Lola’s handling and performances.

The team hope to continue their good testing work next week at Silverstone on Tuesday and Wednesday."

The line-up of the team will be announced at the end of this week.
