Coloni Motorsport took a 6^th and a 8^th position respectively with Enrico Toccacelo and Giorgio Pantano in Interlagos. The italian ex-F.1 team made a good start in the 2002 FIA F.3000 International Championship and is looking forward the next races with confidence. 

Coloni Motorsport: “We are happy to have started the season in the points. We are satisfied with the reliability shown by our two cars and the job done from both of our drivers. We are going to make a test session before Imola in the way to prepare at the best our home race.” 

Enrico Toccacelo: "I am happy to have scored my first point of the season with Coloni Motorsport. I am a bit disappointed because due to a small mistake on lap one I lost positions and the possibility to get the podium. I was happy with the car and I am quite confident with the Championship. I am looking forward to Imola." 

Giorgio Pantano: “It has been a good race to keep more data to use to adapte the set-up to my style. The lack of the test session are obviously obliging my self to suffer a bit in this first race, but all the Team is pushing hard on that and we will have private test session before Imola to improve the car. I am confident that we will get the pace to be a strong contender for the Championship.”
