Coloni Motorsport’s confident with the European premiere 2002: Enrico Toccacelo and Giorgio Pantano aim to confirm their good  Sao Paolo performances.

The first round of the season in Interlagos was very different for the two drivers, but was a success overall. Enrico Toccacelo´s sixth place showed the great potential of the young italian. And for the race in Imola, too, the talented driver is expecting at least a place in the points listings.

Enrico Toccacelo: “I want to confirm the perfomance of Interlagos and to take some points. It’s true that I was in the front in the Imola’s official tests, and my aim is to take my first F.3000 podium in front of the italian fans! I worked hard with Coloni Motorsport in Misano circuit to develop my Lola and to be ready for Imola, our home circuit.” 

For Giorgio Pantano the real start of the international Formula 3000 Championship will be next Saturday in Imola. Coloni Motorsport, after a private test session in Misano, is confident with the performance of the car and is looking forward the race to achieve a prestigious result.

Giorgio Pantano: “Coloni Motorsport is pushing hard to improve the car for my drive style. We had an extremely positive test and I am confident that we will take a good result in Imola. In Italy, I want to demonstrate that I can be a championship contender.”
