Red Bull Junior Patrick Friesacher finishes 7th: 
"I could have done a lot better - if I am lucky I still can get points
tomorrow though!" Team mate Ricardo Mauricio ranked 10th after the Qualifying.

Luckily the weather forecast for today was wrong and the Qualifying took place under summer-like and slightly windy conditions instead of rain. 

Unfortunately, Patrick Friesacher did not have an ideal Qualifying for his home race today, as he only finished 7th and will therefore have to start from the 4th row tomorrow, although, in the first sessions, the Red Bull Junior had still been on 3rd position. 

Patrick F.: "The result is not that bad but it is not that good either – I could have done a lot better! Unfortunately, Alex Müller came into my way in my fastest period, so I had to avoid him going through the pit lane, then the marshalls called me in for weighing and actually I would have needed these 5 more minutes to have a better result. I still have a chance to get points
though tomorrow, but it certainly will be difficult.” 
Patrick F. seemed very calm, concentrated and self-confident by the way, despite the fact that this is his home race. 

Team mate Ricardo Mauricio (BRA) finished 11th today- unfortunately, the Brazilian could not find the right set-up. Ricardo M.: "11th position certainly is disappointing but there are still good chances to get points tomorrow, especially since it will certainly be possible to overtake here.”
Tomas Enge (CZE) finished first in front of Fiorgio Pantano (ITA) and Enrico Toccacelo (ITA). 
The race will start at 15.00h tomorrow, Saturday and will be shown live on Eurosport.
