The first contact of Coloni Motorsport and of the new Lola-Dome F106/03 with the Italian F.3 Championship is positive: in the two qualifying sessions in Misano (I) Marco Bonanomi and Christian Montanari achieved respectively the 7th and 13th time.

Because of the few km covered in the only test in Magione, the Italian team chose to test in the qualifying sessions two different setups with his drivers and the Bonanomi’s one was more effective than the setup utilized by Montanari. However, also in the Sunday warm-up the team will continue to work hard on the setup for the race.

Coloni Motorsport is really satisfied with his two young talents, constant and quick in their absolute debut in a difficult series like F.3. Misano offered to the team the first real chance to test the Lola-Dome F106/03 both with race and qualify setup; despite Coloni Motorsport didn’t tested in Misano in the past weeks as other Italian F.3 Championship teams and despite of only one test with the new car, the times obtained are good and both drivers gave to the team precious information for the car’s development.

The F106/03, assisted also in Misano by Neil Brown Engineering and Lola technicians, showed yet capability of great and continuous improvement lap after lap and Coloni Motorsport can so look forward to the Sunday race.
