Patrick Friesacher (Red Bull Junior Team F3000) going for a top 6 result  "I try to get some points – even at the hometown of my technical director, Xevi Pujolar!” Two weeks ago, Patrick Friesacher had his first real positive experience of his new Formula 3000 career: first row, first points and a fine performance at the race.

Barcelona means to the young Red Bull Junior the return to the track of his first official F3000 testing. Friesacher: “It is very important, to have a perfect set up – even for the very fast corners. Here you can lose a lot of time. Barcelona is very special to me – and to my technical director, Xevi Pujolar. His hometown is Barcelona – and I will try hard to get some points for him here at the Circuit de Catalunya. I think, we should have very fine set-up data from the last years – so must be o.k.”

For Antonia Garcia, Barcelona should be a very special race as well. “The home-Grand Prix is always a great experience for young drivers. Big crowd, a lot of friends – and I try to show to everybody my real performance. Interlagos and Imola weren’t my races!”

Dr. Helmut Marko: “From Friesacher I will expect another points – Antonio Garcia should fulfil my expectations and show his real performance – even at his home Grand Prix.”
