How does it feel to come back to your old team after first being replaced?

what was the reason that Dr Marko sacked you? I mean you scored the only podium

RM: Donīt know, and now itīs in the past

When did you begin to think that you had a real chance to come back?
RM: Didnīt think everything would happen so quickly, overnight.

And when did Dr Marko approach you?
RM: On Saturday, the day of the race at the A1-ring at 12 oīclock, Austrian
time. He called me and said, if I would like to make a test, with a possible
return to racing.
No sabado dia da corrida de A1ring as 12:00 horario da Austria. Ele me ligou e
me disse se eu gostaria de fazer um treino ,com possivel retornar a correr

What have you been doing since your last race in Spa-Francorchamps more than 8
months ago?
RM: Looking for sponsors and preparing physically.

Did you follow what was going on in F3000 since then?
RM:
Watched all the races, you have to be up-to-date to everything that happens in
the racing world. Itīs the least a pilot can do.
Assisti todas as corridas ,vc tem que estar a par de tudo o que acontece no meio
do automobilismo,e o minimo que um piloto deve fazer

What do you think about Garcia? Would he just have needed more time or is he
simply not good enough? His compatriot Alonso came from the same category,
Formula Nissan, as the champion and needed until the 7th race at the A1-Ring to
score his first point...
RM: A good driver, fast but inexperienced in F3000. We canīt compare pilots,
each one has his talents

What are your thoughts about changing your engineer and working together with
Rupert now, who engineered Bernoldiīs car in 2000, instead of Xevi, who you
were working with last year?
RM:
Very happy and determined to do a good job with my new engineer

Can you tell me something about your contractual situation? For how long are you
contracted to RedBull?

RM: Never had a fight with Patrick. He is a good driver and competitive

Do you expect better treatment than Garcia compared to Patrick? As an Austrian
driver in an Austrian team he is in the media everywhere, but Antonioīs name
hardly ever turned up in the teamīs own press releases or on the team website,
although one should think that the team has TWO drivers...
RM: Canīt deny anything to the press since Monaco. They treated me very well
and gave me the opportunity to talk about what happened.
