1) G.P. of Brazil–Interlagos- March, 31 = Only 20th in the qualifiers because of gear troubles, a good setting off from the 10th line, avoiding the confusion before the first curve. An endless catching up leds him 5th,with 2 points.

2) G.P. of San Marino–Imola- April, 14 = Last time in the grid of an unknown track, catching up from line 13, he wins the 15th place, loosing three positions for a going out. 

3) G.P. of Spain–Barcelona- April, 28 = During the qualifiers slides on a stain of oil; he is 23rd, the last but one on he starting line, but he reaches the 18th position, passing 5 drivers.

4) G.P. of Austria–A1 Ring- May, 13 = Eight line (16th time)after trials, he is involved in a pile up at the first curve that causes his immediate retiring.

5) G.P. of Monaco–Montecarlo- May, 26 = Gets the 19th time in the qualifier (line 10) and makes a good start, beeing 13th. Starting again after the “safety-car” (lap 29) he crashes into Santa Devota curve: retired.

6) G.P. of Europe– Nurburgring- June, 23 = Can’t find the ideal “set-up” for his car during the trial, so he starts 22nd from the last but one line, with one goal: to close the race after the two previous retire. In the end he is 18th . 

7) G.P. of France–Magny Cours- July, 30 = Some troubles with the car “set-up” again, during trials: 21st time. He comes up carefully and patiently from line 11, closing 17th before two rivals.

8) G.P. of England –Silverstone- July, 14 = Among the best during the wet trials, then he spins through and doesn’t use the slick being 21st in the qualifiers. Making a very good race, with good times, he comes up 17th . 

9) G.P. of Germany– Hockenheim- July, 28 = Starts from line 8th (15th time), his best qualifier of the season. A good race among the best, showing his excellent skills in the overtaking. A spectacular 9th place, in the mid-list.

10) G.P. of Ungary-Hungaroring- August, 18 = Nine line on the go (18th time) on a difficult track for the “set-up”. He’s careful and accurate on the mid-fast curves, catches up several places, after having been the last. Closes 13th .

11) G.P. of Belgium- Spa Francorchamps-September, 2 = Burning qualifiers because of a crash in the guard-rail, and a few good laps. Starting from 11th line (22nd time), usual catching up after the “pace-car”, comes up 15th .

12) G.P. of Italy – Monza- September, 15 = A succesful 3rd place during the wet trials, but the stop damages him, only 22nd (11th line) in the session before the race. Catching up until 12th place,a spinning through relegate him 15th. 
 
 
Joel Camathias closes F. 3000 FIA International Championship placing 16th with 2 points, the 5th among the beginners and on an overall of 30 drivers registred He entered two time the “top ten”, two withdrawals only. A positive outcome keeping in mind the unfamiliar tracks, several setbacks in the qualifiers and good times in the races.
