On Saturday 21st April 2001, at Villa “Relais Monaco” - Ponzano Veneto (TV), will take place the official presentation of team Durango Benetton Junior .

The team, based at Mellaredo di Pianiga (VE), will be there with the team at complete and the drivers Jaime Melo Junior and Gabriele Lancieri that compete in the International FIA F.3000.
· The Venetian team races in the following Championships:

FIA F.3000 International Championship (close to F.1) with:
- Gabriele Lancieri (from Imola) on the car n° 29
- Jaime Melo Junior (from Brazil) on the car n° 30
At the first race of the season 2001 (Interlagos, Brazil – 31st March) we gained the POLE POSITION and the 2nd place with Jaime Melo.

Italian Championship F.Renault 2000 with:
- Michele Rugolo (from Montebelluna) on the car n° 12
- Ferdinando Monfardini (from Mantova) on the car n° 53
The first race of the season will take place this weekend at Vallelunga , Rome. A part of the team, in fact, will not be present at the presentation.

· Next appointment for team Durango Benetton Junior will be at BARCELLONA (Spain) for the third race of the F.3000 International Championship next 28th April 2001.
