After the deception in the last race in Monaco pilot and team want to take advantage of to the maximum they can during collective trainings in Germany
The pilot's attentions now are gone back to the two days of collective trainings in the track of Hockenheim, Germany, in this Wednesday and Thursday (30 and May 31). To win time, Durango Benetton Júnior - team of Jaime Melo and Gabriele Lanciere, team proceeded direct of Monte Carlo for Milan, Italy, where they made the revision of the cars in the headquarters of the homonymous team Durango, that competes in European Formula 3000.
In spite of not liking of Hockenheim, that considers " a circuit without grace, formed by long straight and chicanes ", Jaime Melo Jr. will have a lot of work in the German track. " The objective is to get in Hochenhein a set up for classification and another one for race. If everything runs without problems in these two days of tests, and if we have time, I inted to simulate a complete race” , according to Drugovich/Vipal/Bombas Leăo's pilot.
In Jaime's opinion, the brake will be the demanded component of the car in Hockenheim. " Due the long straight, the car reachs around 300 km/h and you have to brake from the maximum speed on the circuito, to take the chicanes in second gear ".
After the collective trainings Jaime Melo Jr comes back to Brazil in the Thursday night (31).
