PATRICK FRIESACHER (RED BULL JUNIOR TEAM F3000): FASTEST MAN OF THE FIA TEST IN SPA - EVEN ON SLICKS TODAY.

"Rain man" Patrick Friesacher was the man of the official FIA tests in Spa-Francorchamps.

The young Carinthian was dominating yesterday's rain-session and - was even fastest under today's dry conditions on the very fast circuit of Spa.

Patrick F.: "I can't tell you why. But sometimes, you can do what you want - and nothing would work - like Silverstone. Spa is a circuit, where everything was fine. I felt quite comfortable - from my first lap to the last. On wet conditions and even on slicks. I have a v3ery good feeling for the race on September 1st. Also for Hockenheim, I hope to be back into the points. Even the big gap to the following pilots was surprising to me." 1,5 seconds means a lot to the F3000- scenery.
